About this program

GW's BA in Theatre explores 'all aspects of the field from acting, to design, and management.' 39-credit major. ALL GW students invited to take theatre classes and audition for productions — not limited to theatre majors. SHAKESPEARE THEATRE COMPANY PARTNERSHIP: Students may schedule auditions at academy@shakespearetheatre.org. WASHINGTON NATIONAL OPERA: Returns to Lisner Auditorium annually; GW students interact with professionals. Productions include: The Importance of Being Earnest (Betts Theatre); Medea adapted by Dane Figueroa Edidi (open to all GW students + incoming first-years + alumni).
