About this program

Elizabeth City State University's Department of Music and Visual Arts is NASM-accredited and offers the BA in Music with five concentrations. ECSU participates in the NC Promise Tuition Plan — just $500 per semester for North Carolina residents, making it one of the most affordable music programmes in the United States. Performance — applied instrument or voice study; solo and ensemble performance; junior and senior recitals. 2. Music Education Licensure — leads to North Carolina K-12 music teaching certification. 3. Composition — original composition; portfolio development; music theory integration. 4. Music Production — recording, audio engineering, music production, DAW proficiency. 5. Music Business — music industry, arts management, marketing, copyright and licensing.
