About this program
Creighton's BA in Theatre is part of the Department of Fine and Performing Arts (est. 1954). Lied Education Center for the Arts: Mainstage (350-seat proscenium + 50 balcony), Studio Theatre (up to 100-seat flexible), and Dance Studio. Three customisable tracks: Performance, Technical Theatre, and Musical Theatre. Five productions per academic year (theatre + dance combined). Nebraska Shakespeare Festival offices on-site. Faculty include Amy Lane, Ph.D. (amylane@creighton.edu; 402-280-2671; LECA 231), department Chair A. Barron Breland, DM (barronbreland@creighton.edu; 402-280-1456; LECA 212B), plus Bruce Hough, Lora Kaup, Addie Barnhart, Mark Krejci, Michael McCandless, and Bill Van Deest. $4,000 Grace Keenan Endowed Scholarship for incoming arts freshmen.
