About this program
The BFA in Acting & Original Works trains versatile actors and innovative creators in performance, playwriting, directing, and producing. Faculty Chair Sheila Daniels (AEA; Stage Directors and Choreographers Society). Additional faculty: Geoffrey Alm (Fight Master, SAFD), Desdemona Chiang (MFA, UW; SDC), Anne Allgood (AEA, SAG-AFTRA), Timothy McCuen Piggee (active professional). Cornish Playhouse at Seattle Center (440-seat + Alhadeff Studio Theater 100+ seats + scene shop). Black box studio theater. Interdisciplinary: students act in Cornish Film student films and voice characters for Animation/Game Arts students. Senior Thesis production required. Apply via Common App (Seattle University). Early Action Nov. 15; Regular Decision Jan. 15.
