About this program
Concordia's BM in Music Education prepares students for Minnesota K-12 music teaching licensure. Three concentrations: Winds/Brass/Percussion, Strings, and Vocal. Must be admitted to teacher education program. Applied lessons and ensemble participation all eight semesters. Music education faculty: Jennifer Hawkinson; Peter J. Haberman. Student teaching semester in Minnesota schools. Master of Music in Music Education graduate degree available.
