About this program
The Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre at Brevard College combines training in singing, acting, and dance to prepare students for careers in musical theatre performance. The interdisciplinary program is jointly delivered by Brevard’s Music and Theatre programs, leveraging both faculties’ expertise to provide comprehensive performance training. Students benefit from small class sizes, close faculty mentorship, and four annual productions at the Paul Porter Center for the Performing Arts (including a musical each year). The program emphasizes experiential learning, with students participating in productions from their first year. Studies culminate in a senior capstone.
