About this program
Baldwin Wallace University's BFA in Acting is a nationally ranked, conservatory-level program designed to develop skilled, professionally-prepared actors. Located in the Conservatory of Performing Arts and directed by Matt Koenig, the program integrates extensive hands-on learning with comprehensive coursework in acting, voice, movement, audition techniques, script analysis, and performance. Students benefit from small class sizes, individual faculty mentoring, and access to two professional-quality theatres (a 512-seat proscenium Mainstage and a flexible 100-250 seat Black Box Theatre) within the Kleist Center for Art & Drama. The program emphasizes both classical and contemporary approaches to acting, with faculty who are practicing professionals with connections to major regional theatres including Cleveland's Great Lakes Theater, Idaho Shakespeare Festival, and Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival.
