About this program
The BM in Performance with Voice concentration at Anderson University’s South Carolina School of the Arts provides “intensive study in individual and ensemble performance, pedagogy, music business and entrepreneurship, and hands-on training in conducting and music technology.” The program equips students to become performing artists and develop their own teaching studios. A pedagogy track is available for students interested in teaching. Career paths: musician or singer, music director or composer, sound engineer, high school music teacher, music therapist, or entertainer. AU alumni have performed at La Scala, The Met, Carnegie Hall, and the Academy Awards.
